Gregory A. Crawford, D.D.S.
Dr. Crawford has always believed that preventing dental disease is better than repairing the effects of dental disease. Prevention of dental disease is patient-centered and results in happy patients, healthy smiles, longer-lasting repairs (when needed), and considerably lower costs. Therefore, Dr. Crawford has emphasized preventive dentistry throughout his years of dental practice in Fort Wayne.
Dr. Crawford is a member of:
- American Dental Association
- Isaac Knapp District Dental Society
- Theta Theta Chapter of Omicron Kappa Upsilon
Dr. Crawford attended Wheaton College and graduated with highest honors from Indiana University School of Dentistry. He then went on to serve as a dentist in the United States Air Force. Dr. Crawford also applied his knowledge and skills in dentistry when he served for seven years in Africa as a dental missionary under Bible Study Fellowship and the Rafiki Foundation. Over the years, he has enhanced his training with continuing education courses, including a focus on dental implants.
Dr. Crawford enjoys practicing dentistry, but also finds time for reading, playing golf, tennis, and table tennis. After obtaining her original dental training and education in a military clinic, she has since achieved her Dental Assistant Certification, as well as certifications in specific areas of dental assisting. In addition to her dental background, she also brings prior education, knowledge, and experience related to the requirements of the dental business office. Having filled in for vacationing staff for several years, she eventually joined Dr. Crawford's office full time. Through ongoing continuing education opportunities made available by Dr. Crawford in both clinical and business topics, she continues to gain knowledge that will further assist her with helping patients achieve their dental and oral health goals. When enjoying her free time away from the office, she delves into genealogy research, loves going to the movies, and attends local stage productions. Having family in Florida, including two lovely granddaughters, she says there's "no such thing as too many pictures!"
